Worth the Wait: Caylee + Dustin

Worth the Wait: Caylee + Dustin

After dating for over six years, Caylee and Dustin “finally” tied the knot in a celebration full of friends, family, love and laughter. The playful wedding party photos are just a small glimpse of the fun had that day and the father/daughter moments make our hearts melt.  With shades of blush, burgundy and light grey, the color palette is utterly romantic.  We love how all the details come together in this classic, enchanting Iowa wedding.

Worth The Wait

From the Bride: Although the day was about myself and Dustin, we wanted it to be about our families and everything they’ve contributed to our relationship. It was such a great time to celebrate with our family and closest friends.

From the Photographer: Caylee and Dustin met through a friend in college.  She admits she made the first move and sent him a text!  Although they dated for six years and most family and friends were constantly asking when they were going to “finally” get married, Caylee says it was worth the wait when he proposed on her birthday!  Their day was filled with such love and laughter, it was no surprise I found myself smiling and laughing the entire day as well…feeling like more of a guest than the photographer.
