Thoa + Federico’s wedding in Sioux City included two beautiful ceremonies. Thoa’s parents hosted a traditional Vietnamese marriage ceremony at their home in the morning and then on to the families Catholic Church for a second ceremony. Into the evening, guests enjoyed a reception filled with dancing and a traditional Vietnamese feast.
With the amazing spring weather we have been having, we find our green thumbs are coming out in full force. It’s hard not to start planting every seed packet, bulb, and flower seedling in site. If you are like us and not only love garden-fresh blooms but also love caring for a garden (or know someone who does) , you may want to consider growing your own flowers for bouquets and/or table arrangements.
From the Photographer: Those beautiful Iowa fall days have a way of grabbing our hearts & creating what feels like a glimpse of heaven, don’t they? Golden hour, autumn colors, and a beautiful haze of combine dust scattering the land. What a perfect setting to shoot an engagement session.
You can almost feel the summer heat coming through these photographs of Stephanie + Sam’s golf club summer wedding, taken by Emily Crall. The white bouquets contrast perfectly next to the bridesmaid’s purple dresses; and who doesn’t love a man in uniform!
We are finding it hard to come up with words that do this breathtaking garden wedding justice. Dani + Jimmy’s wedding elegantly combined garden romance with their love of agriculture. Photographed by Seneca Epley, every detail was beautifully captured, from the pristine garden to the intimate photos with their longhorn cattle.
After months of planning this big day, it is finally here! Although this is a very exciting time, it can also be the most stressful time as well. The day before your wedding there is a lot to keep track of so the big day runs smoothly and keeps everyone stress free.
We can’t think of a sweeter way to start off Kaylee + Trent’s Decorah engagement session than with sweet treats at Pinter’s Gardens and Pumpkins Candy Store. They were all smiles as they played around in the shop and then ended the session at Luther College, where they both attended college and where their relationship officially began.
